An original story musical written by British comedian Ben Elton (The Young Ones, Black Adder) is set to the iconic songs of Queen. We are introduced to the distant future of iPlanet where individualism is outlawed and youth have all become mindless clones. In this bleak musical landscape, two revolutionaries named Galileo and Scaramouche rise to save rock and roll and the hopes of an entire generation.
 

JIM GAFFIGAN: SECRETS AND PIES

Jim Gaffigan is one of the funniest comics in the world. This titan of comedy has made countless TV appearances, written two best-selling books with his wife Jeannie, and has nearly a dozen comedy albums and specials under his belt. Gaffigan is also a completely relatable personality. He is warm, witty, and especially adept at exploring the nuances of fatherhood, food and the idiosyncrasies of everyday life.

Gaffigan has the unique ability to present material about his family that could seem mean-spirited in the hands of a lesser comic, but watch him closely and you won’t doubt for a second that he is a loving and devoted father. He’s absolutely hilarious and you don’t want to miss him when he brings his new tour, Secrets and Pies, to the Brandt Centre on January 30.
