Things to Do in Regina
The capital city of Saskatchewan, Regina is home to a thriving arts community and a bustling downtown core centred around the man-made Wascana Lake. Outdoor Activities
During Regina’s pleasant summers, take to the water in a kayak at Wascana Lake, or stay on solid ground with a beautiful walk or bike ride on the trail around the 2,300-acre inter-urban park. For a whimsical park experience with the kids, wander over to the Candy Cane Park at Wascana Centre for to play among the candy-cane striped trees and all-ages playground.
Shopping
For a little bit of everything, head to Grasslands in our Harbour Landing neighbourhood; this mixed-use shopping district features large retailers, specialty stores, unique local boutiques and lots of great restaurants. Although not within walking distance from our hotel, you can also shop your heart out at these other shopping districts.
Nightlife
Need a nightcap? For some fun after dark, check out the Casino Regina or a local pub for pint. Local favourite taverns include Knotted Thistle Pub, Bushwakker Brewing Co. and McNally’s Tavern. For an intimate live music experience serving up big concert acts as well as up-and-coming musicians, head to The Pump Roadhouse.
