JAZZFEST FUNDRAISER DINNER CONCERT

On May 3, the Regina Jazzfest society will be hosting a fundraising dinner and concert to raise funds for this year’s festival! Taking place at the Casino Regina ballroom, this is your chance to meet and greet with fellow music lovers, win prizes in a silent auction, but more importantly, experience great music for a great cause!
Belle Plaine opens the concert with her deeply soulful songwriting that won her the top album in Saskatchewan in the 2018 Sask Music Awards! Then Soul Deep will take to the stage with their signature brand of funk-soul – so if you plan on coming, make sure you bring some comfy dancing shoes! The odds that you won’t be out on the dance floor during their set are extremely low.
 

SASKATCHEWAN HIGHLAND GATHERING & CELTIC FESTIVAL 2019

The biggest event of its kind in the prairies, the Saskatchewan Highland Gathering & Celtic Festival is a celebration of Canada’s Scottish heritage!

Taking place from May 17^th to the 19^th at Victoria Park, this is your chance to experience the best of Scottish culture! Listen to pipes and drums bands show just how incredible that music is when heard out on an open field and try some haggis (it’s actually really, really good – anyone who makes fun of it hasn’t, trust us). Watch traditional highland dancing, and even experience Highland games like the caber toss! It’s going to be a great time whether you’re of Scottish descent or not – all are welcome! That includes kids – they can have their faces painted and play in the bouncy castle! Fun for the whole family.
