Christkindl Markt - Traditional German Christmas Market

Escape to Munich at Regina’s own Christkindl Markt, a Traditional German Christmas Market. This holiday shopping event is taking place on November 28 at the German Club and is free of charge to attend. There will be local handmade gifts, baked goods, and novelty items available for sale. There will also be lots of food, including bratwurst sausages, apple strudel, and gluhwein. And for the kids, there will be a baking and craft kitchen set up where young attendees can make their own ornaments or decorate holiday cookies. 

Regina Santa Claus Parade

Regina’s annual Santa Claus Parade is back for its 35th year! This year, the parade will be held in Evraz Place on November 22, kicking off at noon sharp. Given the pandemic we’re all currently living in, the 2020 Regina Santa Claus Parade will look a little different. It will be a parade in “reverse,” meaning the floats and displays will sit stationary, while participants can drive by and view everything from the comfort and safety of their own cars.

Santa Shuffle Fun Run & Elf Walk

Get in the holiday spirit and support your local community at the Santa Shuffle Fun Run & Elf Walk. This nationwide, virtual event will see all participants coming together to support Canadians in need through the Salvation Army. The Santa Shuffle Run is being hosted by the Salvation Army in conjunction with The Running Room and will take place between December 5 and December 12. In addition to getting outdoors and raising money for charity, there will be several surprises and cool prizes throughout the week-long virtual event.
